Don is a practicing civil rights lawyer fighting to protect the rights of Maryland's residents. He is a father of seven children going through the public school system, a business owner, and combat veteran.

“I am an attorney who fights for workers’ rights in the Federal Court system and to uphold people's civil rights in Maryland and the District of Columbia. I am already working for you in the court system, but bad legislation is creating loopholes for corporations and conservative governments to erode the rights we have fought so hard to secure.
​
The bottom line is that Congress isn’t working the way it is supposed to, and this means we are relying on the court system to uphold and interpret badly written law. The result has been the loss nationally of a woman’s right to choose, a steady erosion of common-sense gun laws, the stripping away of voting rights, an all-out war on the EPA and environmental protections, and the steady loss of people (particularly seniors)'s ability pay their bills because of inflation.
Sending political insiders to Washington, D.C., has not protected us. Sending a practicing civil rights attorney to Congress will be because I understand how legislation will be used to protect or harm our families. As someone working in the federal system, I know how to make steady (sometimes small) steps to create the change we need.
We can't afford to maintain the "business as usual" approach to politics. Our future depends on us taking real action to codify reproductive rights, strengthen voting rights, and civil rights, and protect our environment. When you vote Don Quinn for Congress, you are making a choice to send someone who will fight for you and not back down. Who Is Don Quinn?
Don Quinn is a civil rights lawyer. Don Quinn's passion for civil rights and protecting the rights of Maryland's residents inspired him to run for Congress.
​
Don and his wife Bethany live in Severna Park with their seven children. Their oldest attends Johns Hopkins University; they have two children in high school, two in middle school, and two in elementary school - all attending public schools in Anne Arundel County.
​
Don is the founding partner of a law firm in Severna Park and owns a content marketing company with his wife.
​
Don Quinn is a lifelong learner with a Master's degree from Harvard, a Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri, and a Bachelor's Degree from Washington State.
​
Don is a combat veteran who signed up after 9/11 and completed a tour in the Middle East.
​
Don volunteers in the school system, is active in his Temple and is a 32nd Degree Mason.
